Claire Trevor Society Inaugural Celebration: January 11, 2020

On Saturday, January 11, 2020 the Claire School of the Arts officially launched one of the great new arts-supporting ventures in the region—the Claire Trevor Society. The Inaugural Celebration of the Claire Trevor Society provided Charter Members a unique opportunity to go “behind-the-scenes” of CTSA. The celebration featured a cocktail reception in the Leo Freedman Foundation Production Studio, a seated dinner on the stage of the Claire Trevor Theatre, and showcase presented by the Departments of Art, Dance, Drama, and Music. COMPANY VIP Reception: November 19, 2019

On Tuesday, November 19, 2019, Dean Stephen Barker and Claire Trevor Society co-chairs Richard and Cheryll Ruszat hosted a VIP reception before a performance of COMPANY at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Prior to the performance, guests were treated to a lighting demonstration, by UCI graduate lighting designer Jake Brinkman, and a demonstration on the pre-show process by Don Hill, Chair of the UCI Drama Department. Annual Arts Open House 2019

On Thursday, October 24, 2019, the Claire Trevor School of the Arts welcomed community members to a night of open galleries, rehearsals, behind-the-scenes experiences, and student performances for its Annual Arts Open House. In conjunction with the Open House, Dean Barker and Claire Trevor Society Co-chairs, Richard and Cheryll Ruszat, invited Society members to an exclusive VIP cocktail reception on the fourth floor patio of the Contemporary Arts Center, featuring music of the UCI-based jazz quartet, Miles Behind.
