Arts Box Office

The Arts Box Office supports ticket sales for paid UCI Arts events. Buy online anytime, manage your tickets on your phone, or contact us during window hours.

We can only accept physical credit cards at the box office window (in person). We cannot accept cash, Applepay, GooglePay, etc. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Why Purchase an Arts Ticket Package?

Select three or more events for savings of 15–25% when you purchase three or more events within one transaction.

  • The savings, of course
  • Support student artists by giving them a large audience
  • Exchange privileges for $2 per ticket (must exchange to the same title; events with only one performance date are not eligible)
  • Join us as impact partners in our brilliant future

Events purchased at a later date are not eligible for a discount unless purchased as one of three or more events in a package.

Manage Your Tickets

Standby / Waitlist

For sold-out events, consider visiting the Box Office in person one hour before curtain to check on any returned tickets. This does not apply to events at Irvine Barclay Theatre. Standby is not offered for a few events at other venues.

You may be sold a chance to sit in a potentially empty seat for which someone else holds a ticket. One of four things may happen:

  1. There are no empty seats at curtain (full refund).
  2. You sit down for a portion of Act 1 but are asked to vacate if someone arrives late (full refund).
  3. You watch Act 1 but are asked to vacate for Act 2 if someone arrives late (full refund).
  4. You are seated and never asked to vacate (no refund).

If scenarios 1–3 occur before the Box Office closes, you will be issued a refund in real time. If the Box Office has closed, you will be issued a refund the next business day. Please hand the ticket to the usher or house manager before leaving.

  • Specific seating is not guaranteed.
  • You may not be able to sit together if purchasing multiple standby tickets.
  • You may be asked to switch empty seats at any point during the show, including splitting up standby ticket holders.

Know Before You Go

Download Mobile Tickets

Please download your mobile ticket(s) to your smart device as soon as possible, as Wi-Fi or cellular service at the venue entrance may be limited. Downloading early also enables updates and alerts to be pushed to your device.

Step 1: Add Mobile Tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Pay

  • Option 1: On your smart device, go to MyAccount. Scroll to see your event and ticket details.
  • Option 2: Open the email or text message with the subject line Your UCI Event Tickets are Ready for Download! from tickets@uci.edu. Click the event name link and add your tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

Step 2: Access Mobile Tickets at the Venue Entrance

  • Open the Apple Wallet or Google Pay app.
  • Tap the ticket you want to scan.
  • Your ticket is ready to scan.

Transfer/Share Tickets

Go to MyAccount from your smart device, and then:

  1. Scroll down to find the event you want to transfer.
  2. Click the event title.
  3. Scroll down to see tickets available for transfer.
  4. Click Transfer on any ticket.
  5. Select as many tickets as you want to transfer.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Enter a mobile phone number or email address for the recipient.
  8. Click Review Transfer.
  9. Click Transfer Tickets.

Your guest will be sent a link to access the ticket(s).

Parking Permits

UCI Arts does not control parking on campus. Contact UCI Parking at 949-824-PARK (7275) or parking@uci.edu.

For rates, refer to the visitor permits pricing page. There are hourly and flat-rate options. Depending on how long you will be on campus, hourly rates may be less expensive than flat rates. Hourly permits can only be purchased on-site.

Shuttle Service

On-site transportation service is available from the Mesa Parking Structure (MPS) to select shows throughout the season. View the shuttle schedule.

Service is available for guests with disabilities or those with mobility issues from MPS to select shows throughout the season.

Shuttle service begins one hour before show time and meets patrons on level two of the Mesa Parking Structure near the elevator. Advance notice is appreciated but not required.

The schedule is subject to change. Weather or traffic may occasionally require cancellation. You may call the Box Office starting one hour before performances to confirm shuttle service.

Accessibility / ADA

If you need assistance with campus access, please contact the UCI Disability Services Center at 949-824-7494.

ADA/Accessible Seating

When ordering online, use the drop-down menu to select your price level as accessible. When calling or visiting the Box Office, you may request accessible seating from the seller.

ADA/Accessible Parking

Patrons must still purchase a parking permit to park in any lot on campus. Those with an ADA parking placard or license plate may use the parking lot behind the William Gillespie Studios. From there, follow signs to Arts Plaza or the respective venue.

For Irvine Barclay Theatre, the best parking remains the Student Center Parking Structure (SCPS).

Service Animals

We follow the most up-to-date regulations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). If you have questions about bringing a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability, email artstix@uci.edu or call 949-824-2787.
