With your support we can expand support for their groundbreaking research and teaching by establishing a named endowed academic or faculty chair at UCI Arts.

Named Academic Chairs

An endowed chair is one of the highest honors a scholar can receive. In addition to the existing Rawlins Endowed Academic Chair in the Department of Music, endowed academic chairs in the Departments of Art, Dance, and Drama will build upon the legacy of the Claire Trevor School of the Arts and foster strategic leadership.

Endowed academic chairs enable long-term planning and sustainability. They empower distinguished faculty to deliver a high-impact arts education, lead innovation within their fields, and address the highest priorities within each department. 

Named Faculty Chairs

The Named Faculty Chair is a special honor to attract and recognize an artist and scholar of distinction to UCI Arts, or to retain gifted faculty members whose teaching and research exemplify our mission.
