A Creative Engine for UC Irvine

Founded in 1965, UCI Arts is a national leader in training emerging artists and performers. The school serves as UC Irvine’s creative engine, supporting more than 820 undergraduate majors and 125 graduate students across programs in art, dance, drama, and music.

At the core of UCI Arts is a forward-looking approach that integrates creativity and technology, preparing students to master their disciplines while engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration that extends into the broader community.

UCI Arts is the public-facing entry point to the university for thousands of visitors each year. The school presents more than 200 performances, concerts, exhibitions, and special events annually, welcoming over 32,000 patrons to campus.
