Founded in 1996 by Lyon-based artistic director, Mourad Merzouki, this all-male, Franco-Brazilian company found its artistic vision within the fusion of different styles. Compagnie Käfig flavors its works with dare-devilish circus skills, street-dance, martial arts, and the fun and energetic hip-hop vocabulary as well as other choreographic and artistic languages. Incredibly fast-paced, their complex rhythm and remarkable athleticism take the art of street-dance to a new level of sophistication. This event is free and open to the public.
