Fines and Fees

Fines should not be confused with processing fees and replacement bills. Fines are assessed on late returns, reserves, short term loans, and unreturned recalled materials.

Fines and processing fees are billed through, and paid to, the UCI Central Cashier. For lost or damaged materials, the AMC must first authorize approval of the amount and present the borrower with a bill. A $10 processing fee is added to the charge for each replacement.
