Rajna Swaminathan & Utsav Lal, with Eyvind Kang

 VIEW EVENT PROGRAM

In this collaborative duo performance, Professor Rajna Swaminathan (mrudangam, voice) and Utsav Lal (piano) explore multiple intersections among South Asian music, jazz/creative music, and other sound worlds. Original compositions by both artists will be featured, interwoven with expansive improvisations and innovative arrangements of music from their influences. The concert will also feature guest artist Eyvind Kang joining the duo on viola d'amore.
