A group of dancers in coordinated cowboy-inspired costumes perform on stage, wearing wide-brimmed hats, fitted tops, chaps, and boots. They form a loose circle around a central dancer, all holding their arms bent and extended in stylized poses, against a vivid red-to-purple gradient backdrop that emphasizes the theatrical, high-energy choreography.

The prolific choreographer Lar Lubovitch will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his company next spring with a world premiere — and some help from the Martha Graham Dance Company and the Joffrey Ballet.
