UCI Arts Career Fair 2027

Join us for the UCI Arts Career Fair — an exciting evening for UCI Arts students to network, get career-ready and discover what's possible within the creative sector!

The UCI Arts Career Fair aims to:
•    Engage students with arts organizations and industry professionals
•    Prepare students with career readiness skills and resources
•    Connect employers with the next generation of creative talent

• What is the UCI Arts Career Fair?
  • After overwhelming feedback from our UCI Arts students, the Access & Engagement unit is hosting the school's first Career Fair to explore career pathways, connect with employers and industry professionals, and build career readiness. This event is free. We strongly encourage registering in advance, though walk-ups are welcome.
• Do I have to register, or can I just show up?
  • We encourage pre-registering for the event in order to: receive timely, up-to-date information; get early access to scheduling a DCP review appointment; quickly check-in and maximize networking time; and receive an extra entry for the raffle. Walk-ups are welcome, but will still have to register and check-in to participate in certain activities. Registration info coming soon! Please check back here often.
• What should I expect attending this event?
  • We seek to have a diverse representation of employers that truly reflect the vibrant creative sector of Southern California. These organizations may be actively hiring or simply want to share resources and connect. The UC Irvine Division of Career Pathways (DCP) will also be present to host resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile reviews. Appointment times are limited. Register in advance for the best chance at securing a spot. Food will be available, and all checked-in attendees will be automatically entered into a raffle. Winners will be notified after the event.
• How should I prepare? What should I bring?
  • Before the event, we strongly suggest scheduling an appointment with UCI Arts' DCP liaison, Cari Malek, to review your resume, cover letter, or LinkedIn profile. This allows you skip this portion of the fair, have more time to network, and be better prepared when connecting with employers and professionals. For the day of, those who pre-registered must present your confirmation email to check-in. You are welcome, but not required, to bring copies of your resume/cover letter, business cards, and/or something to take notes with.

For Organizations
Organizations interested in participating must complete the online Interest Form. Participant registration is free, but space is limited! Submissions close Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, at 5 p.m.

Organizations selected to participate will be notified around mid-November. More information regarding logistics and needs will be shared upon selection.

• What type of organizations are eligible to participate?
  • Any employer within the creative sector that is located or doing work in Orange County is eligible to apply. Whether you are actively hiring or simply want to share resources and connect with our students, we aim to have a diverse representation of participants that truly reflect the vibrant creative sector of Southern California.
• What will be provided at the event? What should I bring?
  • Participants will be assigned a booth space with a table and two chairs. Complimentary parking, food, and WiFi access will be provided. More information regarding logistics and requirements will be shared upon selection. We encourage those selected to bring informational materials, resources, and activities you would like to share with our students.
