Established in the summer of 1992, the Arts Media Center comprises the central music reference and technology resource in UCI's Claire Trevor School of the Arts. Come visit our brightly lit, air conditioned facility equipped with CD, phonograph, VHS, DVD, DAT, laserdisc, seven-station mac lab, a Dance/AV Room and quiet study and listening areas. The AMC houses a growing collection of classical, jazz, popular, and world music audio and video recordings. We have over 5,000 CDs, 200 DVDs, 7,000 LPs, scores, videos, laserdiscs, CD-ROMs, scanner, photocopier/laser printer (B&W), and six music workstations with MIDI keyboards and Digidesign M-Boxes with Protools LE. Our computers can be used for music composition, music notation, musicianship, basic graphics, video editing, networking, writing, and various interactive technologies.

Thanksgiving Holiday Hours The AMC will be closed Thursday 11/24 through Sunday 11/27. We will reopen for regular hours on Monday, 11/28 at 10 a.m.

The UCI AMC is located upstairs in Building 714, across the service drive from Mesa Housing, and across the walkway from the Beall Center, at the north end of the Claire Trevor School of the Arts, near the corner of West Peltason and Pereira. (map)
