Position Summary:

 

Claire Trevor School of the Arts is UCI’s center for innovative, creative engagement in art in all of its facets: production, critique, appreciation, and development. The School’s work focuses on creativity—but not just on creativity: our mission integrates all levels of education (from B.A. and B.F.A. to M.F.A. to Ph.D.) with arts advocacy and leadership, engagement with social and cultural issues, and partnerships with individuals and organizations locally, nationally, and internationally.

 

Under the direction of the Assistant Dean, the incumbent manages the IT team and all aspects of IT operations for the School of the Arts. The position works closely and collaboratively with all members of staff and faculty to provide technology support on mission critical applications, systems, and infrastructure in addition to overseeing the delivery of seamless, effective, and useful products and services to all the users in the school. The role manages the CTSA IT group and resources, providing technical leadership to a team of 3 full-time IT professional staff members. It ensures that IT services can respond efficiently and effectively to the needs of CTSA faculty and staff. This role acts as the school Information Security Liaison between CTSA and the OIT Information Security Team and is responsible for following information security protocols and ensuring security of all IT infrastructure platforms, hardware system, and applications within the school.

 

Compensation Range: $86,900.00 - $136,200.00
