  in a laundromat in rural America\, exploding with pent-up rage from young
  motherhood\, workplace misogyny\, and uncertainties about marriage. A gen
 eration earlier\, Chrys\, Lou\, and Jo similarly struggle against patriarc
 hal norms and their lives parallel those of the laundromat women. Quit Bit
 chin’ explores cycles of oppression within women’s lives\, from Ancient Gr

  EVENT PROGRAM</p> <p>Step into a world pulsating with energy\, where ever
 y moment crackles with the intensity of life. Maddie\, Tig\, and Jules are
  in a laundromat in rural America\, exploding with pent-up rage from young
  motherhood\, workplace misogyny\, and uncertainties about marriage. A gen
 eration earlier\, Chrys\, Lou\, and Jo similarly struggle against patriarc
 hal norms and their lives parallel those of the laundromat women. Quit Bit
 chin’ explores cycles of oppression within women’s lives\, from Ancient Gr
 eek myths to modern day\, so prepare for a journey where every twist is a 
 revelation.</p> <p>Quit Bitchin’ is a Developmental Production\, a fully s
 taged version with full sets\, costumes\, and production elements\, but wi
 th the understanding that changes may still be made before an official wor
 ld premiere at a later date. This production is written by third-year M.F.
 A. candidate Anna Marjorie Fitzgerald and has been workshopped at UC Irvin
