Join thousands of alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends at the UCI Homecoming celebration and festival. Enjoy live music, performances, interactive demos, hands-on exhibits, Alumni Entrepreneur Fair, UCI Care-a-thon Family Fun Zone, Hotel Irvine Beer Garden, athletic clinics, “Take 15” community service project, “1-minute clinic” personal branding counseling, popular alumni food trucks, and more!

Complimentary parking will be available for a limited time the day of the event. Alumni can reserve up to two free tickets to the UCI men's basketball game against UCSB, while supplies last. All alumni registered for Homecoming will receive a free UCI Alumni Flag, while supplies last.

Saturday, Jan. 30: Homecoming Festival, Basketball Game, and Anteater Talks in Aldrich Park, the Bren Events Center and at The Cove.

Homecoming Festival

Homecoming will celebrate with a free festival in Aldrich Park featuring engaging innovation exhibits, live music and dance performances, a Family Fun Zone, Hotel Irvine Beer Garden, popular food trucks, fun games, free swag and much, much more! Guest appearances by Peter the Anteater, the UCI Spirit Squad, coaches, players and others.

Men's Basketball vs. UC Santa Barbara
7 p.m.  |  Bren Events Center
7 p.m. Televised on ESPNU

Join thousands of anteaters to cheer on our 2015 Big West champion men's basketball team as they host UC Santa Barbara! Our Anteaters were picked as the pre-season favorite to win the conference in 2016.

NOTE: If we have a packed house at the Bren Events Center, Anteaters can gather together and catch the game at our Watch Party at the Newkirk Alumni Center starting at 7pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
 
Anteater Talks
7 - 9 p.m.  |  The Cove @ UCI Applied Innovation
 
Innovation is a product of tackling obstacles and discovering solutions through ingenuity. Art is created through exploration of our perception in mediums that convey our values and emotions with profound authenticity. Join us and several distinguished alumni for a TED inspired talk as we explore art, innovation, and the inherent curiosity behind discovery.

Chicano/Latino Alumni Luncheon
12:00- 1:30 p.m.  |  Student Center, Doheny Beach
 
Join us for the 2nd annual Chicano/Latino Alumni Homecoming Luncheon and learn about UCI's current and planned initiatives to further support students' success at UCI. This event is hosted by the Chicano/Latino Staff Association and Office of the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs in conjunction with the UCI Alumni Association and the Chicano/Latino Alumni Network.

Black Alumni Scholarship Luncheon

To kick off the homecoming festivities, the UCI Black Alumni Chapter (BAC) will be hosting a luncheon to raise funds for black student scholarships. The program includes updates from the BSU and  basketball player Mamadou N'Diaye. Valerie Sheppard, a UCI lecturer who teaches student development and business courses, will be speaking. Furthermore, the BAC will share their plans for 2016 and host in a silent auction. Your Master of Ceremonies is John Elston '81. All registered luncheon guests will receive a new UCI Black Alumni Chapter t-shirt!
