UCI Chamber Singers performs Dona Nobis Pacem, by Ralph Vaughan Williams

UCI Chamber Singers performs the epic twentieth century masterwork Dona Nobis Pacem, by Ralph Vaughan Williams. Composed in 1936, after the horrors of World War I and as tensions were once again rising in Europe, Dona Nobis Pacem sets Civil War texts by Walt Whitman, sacred texts in Latin, and other texts in a powerful meditation on war, despair, and hope.

The performance will feature UCI students Brianna Finnell, soprano, and Richard Lindsay, baritone. Additional musical selections to be announced. The concert is free and open to the public.
