The “Physical Graffiti Online” dance concert presents new choreography and dance-inspired multimedia artwork. At a time when the University of California system is conducting all activities online due to COVID-19, the creative team designed this new presentation format, effective only through internet-based communications to support the creative process of undergraduate choreographers. This spring 2020 performance is the result of dance rehearsals and other methods mediated by video-conferencing platforms such as Zoom, as well as a range of different devices with a connection to the internet. Their online and live presentations will include video, animation, collage, poems, skewed images.

The asynchronous performances (non-live content) will be made available for one and a half hours before each of the Q&A discussion sessions.

Choreography from Emma Andres, Piper Bockstahler, Summer Cantrell, Kyla Chaney, Claire Goldes, Savannah Graves, Lauren Gresens, Ember Hopkins, Emily McKeon, McKenzie Olsen, Alexis-Nichole Pineda, Samantha Scheller, Katherine Wong

COVID-19
At CTSA, our priority is the health and safety of our students and community, including faculty, staff, production team, and supporters. In keeping with the decision released by UCI in response to the COVID-19 health crisis, we have decided to cancel or postponed all performances for the remainder of the Spring 2020 quarter.

We are in the process of managing donations and the refunds to our ticketholders. We appreciate your patience as we work through this process. We are diligently working with our teams to reschedule any events that may be postponed to a later date.

To learn more about UCI’s ongoing response to this crisis, please visit UCI’s dedicated COVID-19 website.

Be safe and healthy, and remember to spread Art, not the virus!
