In the Department of Drama in the Claire Trevor School of the Arts offers one of the premier academic and professional training programs in the United States. The Department is committed to the development of both performance and scholarly activity that are informed by the exploration, scrutiny, and examination of a variety of social, political, and cultural phenomena.
Drama students enjoy additional opportunities for interdisciplinary involvement in opera, dance, video, and performance art. The B.A. program centers on liberal study and performance, the M.F.A. program on professional training and performance, and the Ph.D. program on dramatic literature, critical theory, and performance studies.
