Giving
There are many ways to support the Arts at UCI. You can make an immediate difference today or you can make a difference for generations to come; you can make memorial gifts to honor an individual or event; and you might be able to maximize the impact of your gift through employer matching gift programs.
Memorial Gifts:
You can make a gift in memory of a family member or friend, in honor of an individual, or in recognition of a special occasion. We will help you plan and execute memorial gifts, and we will notify those you wish to honor of your gift in their name. Contact Mia Martinez at (949) 824-0085.
Outright Gifts of Cash:
- Mail your contribution check, payable to The UCI Foundation, to the following address: Development Office, Claire Trevor School of the Arts, 4000 Mesa Road, Irvine, CA, 92697-2775. In the “Notes” line, indicate your gift is for the Claire Trevor School of the Arts and add any wishes for specific support of a program or scholarship.
- Donate online with your credit card using the UCI secure server.
- For some gifts, you may spread your gift out over a three year period. Gifts are deductible in the year a payment is made. For further information, contact Mia Martinez at (949) 824-0085.
Check with your employer to find out if they have a matching gift program. Many employers have such programs, and these can greatly expand the impact of your contribution.
Marketable Securities:
A gift of marketable securities, which are otherwise subject to long-term capital gains, is often advantageous to donors. You may be able to avoid payment of capital gains tax on the increase in the value of the stock and receive deduction for full fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift, subject to limitations. Complete the Stock and Securities Notification Form.
